MicroStation Review

MicroStation Review is a stand-alone viewing, visualization, redlining and non-graphic database management tool supporting the native MicroStation .DGN drawing file format. MicroStation Review allows read-only access to MicroStation .DGN files. Files imported from other software packages are translated transparently and on-the-fly into a .DGN format. By design, no changes to the .DGN file are permitted. Markups are saved to a separate file (.RDL) using a redlining "overlay" metaphor. The file format of the .RDL file is identical to MicroStation .DGN format, and can be loaded directly into MicroStation. MicroStation Review is also an application platform running add-on programs written in the MicroStation Development Language.
